About the DSC Customized RustDesk Application

The RustDesk application provided by Deep Sky Chile is a pre-configured version that includes all necessary settings for connecting to our servers.

Important Notes

• Do not rename the executable file. The file name is essential for the application to correctly apply the configuration specific to DSC's network.
• By keeping the default name and running the executable, the application will automatically install and connect with the correct parameters.

Downloading the Application

1. Log in to your Deep Sky Chile Dashboard at: https://clients.deepskychile.com.
2. Navigate to the Resources section and select Downloads.
3. Download the RustDesk application labeled:

  Rustdesk for DSC  
  (Ensure you download the latest version provided.)

Installing the Application

1. Locate the downloaded executable file on your computer.

  (The default location is usually your "Downloads" folder.)

1. Do not rename the file. The default name ensures proper configuration.
2. Double-click the file to run it.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. Repeat these steps on the remote computer you wish to control.

Remote Access

• Use the RustDesk interface to connect to your hosted telescope's control machine.
